DOVER STREET II

90 m2

Rossi & Rossi are a Hong Kong based gallery specialising in contemporary and Asian antique art.

The London gallery was created in what was originally an office space on the ground floor of this Grade II listed building on Dover Street.

The design involved a complete reconfiguration of the interior to provide a modern backdrop characterised by clean and continuous lines for the display of artwork. A long partition was introduced, facilitating wall displays while incorporating invisible pivot doors that grant access to essential storage areas.

In addition to the exhibition space, a new library and office area were established at the rear of the gallery, facilitating operations without disrupting the flow of the public area.

The installation of updated services was a key aspect of the project, it also featured specialist lighting with directional fixtures designed to enhance the visibility of the displayed works.

This transformation required careful consideration and approval, necessitating a licence for change of use, Listed Building Consent, and a landlord licence
